Sandcast CB750 on EBay with only 445 original miles!
« on: July 13, 2010, 06:12:18 AM »
Unbelievable, this bike has had no factory recall work done, and the engine isn't even run in yet! I think I better buy a lottery ticket.............  ;D

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-CB-VERY-RARE-SANDCAST-HONDA-ORIGINAL-445-MILE-SANDCAST-CB750-CB-750-1969-K0-/330450965682?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item4cf06994b2#v4-37
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Someone else needs to own it ....   cause I'd ruin it's value by riding it

That is truly amazing, it went up 11 thousand bucks since I posted this thread! If I did win the lottery I'd ride the hell out of that bike, I know that will only reduce it's value, but I don't care, I hate the thought of that poor bike sitting in a Museum with a dust cover over it, longing to be out on the open road! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ha ha, hell Bob, if I win the lottery I'll have my hot female chauffer ride it while I sit on the back smoking a cuban ceegar and waving to all the poor people! ;D

Did you notice the dumb question someone asked him: Would you swap some motors for it?!?

Ha ha, yeah I saw that mate, but I think it was someone with some sandcast engines and parts looking to do a "part trade" deal, I know Vic is a wheeler-dealer and might have been interested, so I'm guessing he wants the money? Cheers, Terry. ;D

Confucius say; if something is too good to true........it usually is.

My doubts;

Brake discs: a little too much scouring for well under 500 miles
Tyres: over 40 years old and still fresh and supple looking?? Mine were 10 years younger and looked like pre-cast concrete and faded and mouldy and scabby.
Leaking Carbs: Cracked carb body?? How the F*ck did that happen?? somebody take a hammer to it?
Paintwork: Just looks too fresh and unblemished for 40+ years...even in a barn and covered with a dust sheet.

Having said all that, I know what my wet dream's gonna be about tonight. :o :o :o
