Haven't seen the "professor's" posts around here in months, and I kind of miss his common sense and thought provoking pointers.

A while back he said he was going to take some time off from the forums.  He's made a few posts since then, but nothing I've seen lately.  Have you tried PM-ing him?  He may have his profile set to send email alerts when he gets a PM.
