there was some talk on a previous thread about this company out of japan
www.bratstyle.com

did anyone ever hear back from them?
if so, did you get a price on one of those kicka$$ seats?
if not, time to call the upholstrey shop I guess to see if they will make one

I tried for about a week to get ahold of anyone over at that place , with no luck what-so-ever.
I emailed, and had my asian friend call and try to talk to a person , but no dice.  ::)

I am going with a solo seat, but if I wanted a Brat seat , I would gather as many pics as I could, and take them to a
custom seat shop , so they could re-create it.

thanks. I knew someone was trying to get in tough with them.

I kinda figured I'd be doing something like that. I printed off as many pics as I could from their site. now I just have to find a seat guy locally. I'm going to try a couple auto upholstrey places as well....I'll keep posted as to how it goes if you're interested

What is with the tires on those bikes?  I thought I read on another board that they are in fact car tires.  Does anyone know?

Thanks for the links.

They add a stylish touch to the bikes, but I wonder how they perform.

You can get repro's of classic tires from a few different places.
I like to stick with modern tires, as I feel alittle safer on them.

Keep us posted if you get a seat guy to make ya a copy..
