CB 750 K1 fork bridge ?
« on: July 16, 2010, 05:17:45 PM »
Hi,

I have a fork bridge from a K2 in use and I wold like to bulit it back to K1
but I only have the upper part of the K1 fork bridge.
Is there a difference @the lower part of the fork bridge between K1 and K2 ?
or is the only difference to find in the upper part and the lower part is still the same?

Polished the upper part, looks much better then before.

I believe they have different offsets the width is the same. I have a 70,72,76,77and 78 every top/bottom tripple tree is different. Every one! The later ones (73 to 78) are I believe interchangable but some have a pedestal for a choke assembly and the distance between the guage bolts seemed to change every five minutes. I think you will need the correct lower to make it work. This older style looks like the same one used on a sandcast ask the sandcast gurus which lower you need.
