Thanks guys! While I was doing this build, I also built the MoLester bike and a new big bore motor for my 550, so I was busy. After everything was done, I took a picture of the gang.

Have you gotten the 550 dialed in with those CR's on there?

Fast, yea, they are pretty decent, 118 mains. +5 deg timing. The only strange issue is a really fast full throttle snap will cough/spit so a slower roll is ideal. Riding the bike its seamless. Waaaaayyyy more power than the stockers.

Man, you really hit a home run with that one.

Not a color choice that I would have thought of - but wow, it really, really is classy/tasteful.  Really ties in nice with the frame color.
Love the front drum as well - kinda helps with the mystery of the bike.

Great job, and enjoy riding around.   It will be the center of attention wherever you park it that's for sure.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Thanks GJ!!! The color was a tough decision, the gold in the paint offers some great transitions in different lighting. I look at different pictures and I see a change everytime. I'm very happy with the finished product.

I do like the front drum quite alot, it was an effort getting it to work with the later forks but worth it. I thought about drilling it all out but I wasn't ready to possibly ruin it if I messed up, so I played it safe with the hubs.

Getting gas is fun, people seem to gravitiate to the bike. I'm always happy to talk about the bike.
