Replacing oil lines
« on: July 23, 2010, 07:25:20 PM »
I'm thinking about replacing the oil bag, and I was wondering if the feed and return lines actually need to be that large in diameter. A buddy has a horseshoe tank I can use. I was thinking of cannibalizing some stock lines to adapt them for the narrow outlets in the horseshoe. If I could just use skinnier lines Frankensteined to stock engine plugins, I'd be happier.

So, anyone want to deprive me of that happiness?

The ID of the line is the important factor. The stock lines have many layers of fabric over the nylon liners for long life and abrasion protection. I think the ID is 10mm minimum.
