i woke up this morning and called the guy i was supposed to get the 550 from today to give a time of when i would pick up the bike
ad he said he was really sorry but he sold the bike :'( he said he was going to hold it and he didnt want a deposit but i guess you cant go by anybodys word anymore words and handshakes dont mean squat. anyway looks like im on the hunt again.................

sorry to hear that. Wish I could say I keep my eyes peeled, But that aint gonna help you squat. Know a 80 something 500t around here for 75? ran when parked? nice little trek to hot TN.. ::)

Anyway. Good luck hunting man. And do yourself a favor. Stay away from anything that says GS in it anywhere.. :)

had it happen to me on a $275 750K6.
agreed on a price and i was needing to come back in the AM with a truck...called the guy on the way.  said he'd sold it a few hrs after i left. FRACK!
shoulda partially paid him and taken the carbs/tank, etc.  ;)
I wont go look at a bike w/o cash and a truck from now on.

yeah im already plotting on another one ;D this one is in mass about four hrs away i dont know if thats alittle overboard to travel that far but to me its worth it. or i just may sit on my hands and wait for one to pop up on the jersey craigslist. its funny though i got over 20 hrs logged on this site and i dont even have the bike
