I've done a couple of searches on here and haven't been able to find an answer.  Looking on the web I have found companies that make them, but don't know if it would work for this application.

Basically it's time to redo my 550 front end fitted to a 350 twin.   The spacers I made before are heavy steel.  I have some aluminum round stock . . .  will this work?   The spacer on the right side has to be relatively thin as it sits inside of the seal.

Thanks in advance.

Jorge.

Some spacers are made from aluminum so it would be fine.  It is more expensive than steel and not necessary so that is why you don't see it as often.

Aluminum is no problem, but stay away from the hardware store anodized stuff. It's super soft and gummy.
