ok Guys, here is a little better pic of my bike, and a pic of the bartender that I wish I could get to ride on the back.  I'll be the first to admit that the other bikes are much shinier than mine, but mine runs like hell and I don't mind getting it all dirty! It has come a long way, yet to me it still holds the classic look of an old dirt tracker. Good luck to everybody, even if mine doesn't win, I'm going to tell all of my friends that it did :D

Well, I'll give it the old college try, but the next bike night isn't until the last week in July. Unless I can think of some other reason to go to the bar before then.....hmmmmmm... think. think. think.

What?  Getting her to sit on it isn't excuse enough?  Besides, since when are we requiring excuses to go to the bar?

Hey Godffrey, question. I was looking through you pictures of your build and i noticed on your rearset brackets that you have 3 holes on the rounded part that attaches to the frame. Now, is that for bolts or did you weld those on?

Those are stainless steel michen screws.  The bracket is made of aircraft aluminum and is for extra support of the rear sets because the late model 550 rear peg brackets aren't very strong and not meant to support that much of a load.

cool. i just got some rearsets for my 750. i've been considering making a bracket for them, but wasn't sure how to go about it. i thought about just putting them in the rear passenger peg holes, but wasn't sure.

The 750 rear peg brackets are stronger then the 550's and may not require additional reinforcement.

Looks like there is a winner.  Congrat's dude!

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.
