Really wondering why you would exclude ANY type of bike on this question.. ???

It was a joke,  I think he was just trying to imply that Harlys have trouble turning regardless and would much rather go in a straight line.   ;D

Sam - I thought drag racers only knew fast and straight, and thought turns were for getting back to the pits!  Preference for turns based on where the return lane is...  ;D

On the road surely left hand bends are ' easier' simply as you can see a lot more road thru' the bend, r/h'ers are usually a lot more blind.....

It all depends on which country you live in Raymondo. ;D ;D ;D

When riding, what foot do you put down more or first?...that is the side to which most will prefer cornering to.

Gotta ask, how fast do you guys get your feet on the pegs? As soon as clutch is out, or do you take longer? Newbies are fun to watch on this..

When only putting down one foot at a stop it's always the left foot because my right foot is on the brake.  Clutch pulled in, bike in 1st gear ready to move when the light changes or if the car coming from behind doesn't appear to be slowing down or stopping fast enough.

When I first started riding I taught myself to get my feet on the pegs the instant I started moving, because I saw how stupid it looked when other riders kept their training wheels out until they got up some speed.  That's one of the easiest to spot tells of an inexperienced rider.  I also don't usually put my foot down until the bike has completely stopped.  When I can't ride I've been known to spend some time in the garage just sitting on the bike trying to see how long I can balance it without putting my feet down.

Left turns whether I'm on my Honda or Harley. I can see the oncoming traffic better.

You guys don't piss off us Harley riders. We know better.   ;)

When I'm cornering around a Harley, I prefer to go around the left of him.  That way, my left hand will be able to reach even higher when I make the "wave" that he's sure to not return.    ;D

Really wondering why you would exclude ANY type of bike on this question.. ???

Well from what I see, Harley riders ride only in straight lines between strategically placed "turntables". Like the type used for turning locomotives, only smaller. Once turned, they ride in another straight line to the next turntable. This is why they travel in large swarms: they get discount for quantity plus they can stand around in large groups each side of the turntable drinking coffe and admiring each other's pop rivets.  ::)

Tongue firmly in cheek 757.

 ;)

Right handed, left eye dominant, pretty sure I prefer left turns.  Then again, I've been off a bike for a while so I suck at both.

Right hand turns absolute fantastic kneedraggers; left hand turns are an invention of the devil.

Lefthanded.

I cant walk and chew gum?
I can wiggle my left ear better than my right.
I can raise my right eyebrow but not my left.
I'm right handed and left footed.
And I feel more comfortable in a right hand turn.

Prefer left turns, but am making a concerted effort to improve my ability to lay into a right turn.
I found my I favoured the left turns after living in Europe (Germany) for a few years...lots of roundabouts.
