Need fork help!!
« on: July 21, 2010, 05:13:06 PM »
Ok, I am building a 73 cb750 and ran into an issue with the forks. I decided I would look for replacements rather than dealing with all the issues these had. I picked up a set from a 77 off of Ebay and they just arrived today. After looking at them now, they are clearly different than mine. First off it looks like the lowers are meant for dual disc brakes. Secondly one lower assembly attaches the front wheel the way the 73 does, ( a clamp and two bolts) and the other side just has a hole.

Will these forks work for me with my 73 hub and brake? They are in great shape and and the price was good..
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a set of K7 forks on my bike, and they have clamps on both fork legs, just like my old K1 forks. Maybe you should post a picture: maybe someone can identify what you have?
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
