Mine came from abbreviating what I was eating when I registered on another forum many moons ago.

It's my moniker everywhere, as I'm not a fan of people who feel the need to use different aliases everywhere they go ???

My username is the first letter of my first name Ivar. And the first 4 letters off my last name Eisma. Pretty boring, but i've been using this for years and it's the only thing that I can type blindfolded.

Very roughly 14 inch wingspan, I like big models, the traditional scale for scale modelers is 1/72, but this is far to small for me, the penalty of modelling in 1/32 scale is a lack of subjects though, especially as I like to model WW2 RAF/Fleet Air Arm subjects

Ah, another aircraft nut eh? My dad (he turns 80 in January) has been obsessed with military aircraft since he was a little kid, he joined the RAAF in 1945 as soon as he turned 18, and was well pissed when the war ended before he finished his pilot training, he dragged me around every WW2 airfield in Britain back in the 1970's and the only one I liked was "Old Warden" because of the cars and motorcycles in the museum, but he's got a massive collection of model aircraft spanning over 60 years, and literally thousands of magazines! When he goes, I'll be living off the proceeds from Ebay until I retire, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Yea, I reckon it's off to the vinyl decal folks for a vinyl brand. It would look good come to think of it.

Hi,
Why 2 Corsairs, well they are the most recent additions and are better than my previous attempts !
Unfortunately in my chosen scale of 1/32nd the Spitfire is sorely neglected, the Modelling world is obsessed with all things German. The only decent Spitfire that I have in my collection is one that I built a long time ago, Spitfire Mk 1, No19 Squadron, Duxford Sept 1940 flown by Flight Lt B.J.E. Lane, see attached.

Cheers

Den

Looks way better than most of my attempts. I've never seen 1:32 scale aircraft before, most of mine are 1:72, or more recently 1:48 which is easier on the eyes during build :D

ic, initials of my first and last name "Ian Collie"

455 Two origins: I used to have a '68 Pontiac LeMans with a 455, and my favorite Oldsmobile engine is the 455.  Plus, it's nice and short and simple.

(yes I know Ian is an English name.  also Irish/British/Scottish?)

Actually Ian, "Collie" is a very British name too. Here's a link to some info about the Collie dog, (apparently the word "Collie" is Scotish for "something Useful") and a link to a "Collie" genealogy site too. Cheers, Terry. ;D

well, when my parents adopted me they gave me their last name as my last name and my mother's maiden name as my first name.  They were farmers and that was the best they could come up with, but it suits me just fine.

I build computers in my spare time. Because my name is Peter people started calling them Peterbuilt Computers. When I tried to get a web site Peterbuilt was allready taken so I went with Peterbylt. I don't build so many computers any more and no longer have the web site but the name stuck and everthing I build including the motorcycle is now refereed to as a Peterbylt.

I used to have a home based business offering adult education in a variety of disciplines (including motorcycle rider training and in-office optical training for optometric assistants and opticians). The business name was Nick Jordan Training and Consulting and my first email address was an abbreviation of this....nickjtc@.

It has stuck over the years, even though the business closed a long time ago.

My British accent is pretty bad, I don't even understand Cricket, usually my beer is kinda on the tepid side, I don't whine at all and haven't ever eaten Indian or Pakistani food.  I'm damn close......

Ok mate, well work harder on eating crappy food, and start complaining more about everything that normal people just take for granted, and soon you'll be getting something in the mail from someone called "OHMS", ha ha! ;D

Terry, to be an honourary Australian do you have to be called Bruce and assume that foreplay is "Brace yourself, Sheila."?
