as a younger lad I was called jamie instead of james by my family. My father switched it to the spanish, Jamie, which sounds like Hymie, and hymie became hymodyne, thanks to his twisted sense of humor...he also named my sister

Terry,
get your history right, the first Indian restaurant was in London in the 1880's cos Vicky liked a bit of Indian after a piss-up ::)

It's alright Pete, you don't have to be defensive of Britain, Welshmen are all just captives of that evil English regime, same as the Scots and Irish.

My grandfather was Welsh mate, and still made a top Aussie, Ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

I've got three "running" dogs (as they are sometimes called) and without a bike on the road at the moment I'm definitely the dawdling one around here + my last name is Daw.

My bike can be repaired.
My insanity is a little more permanent.

Medic 09 was my specialist designation in the IDF.  Regular combat medics are 07.  Trauma-training-only (don't know if it exists anymore) were 05.  Instructors, Chief Medics, and some other 'advanced' types were usually 09.  Of all the things I've been blessed to do, that was the finest.  Hence...

Geez, you Israeli medics must be held in high esteem mate, over here, we just call our medics "Scab Lifters", ha ha!  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Well, Terry, maybe your medics should be up in the action.  Then they wouldn't let their wounded lie around long enough to get scabs.

Is it true that Aussi medics carry large cans of Foster's as a substitute for IV fluid?  Who's it for?   ;)

Stay safe.  If you can't see the ground, you need a canopy.  ;)

Ha ha, nah, our medics don't much like being called that either mate. They used to carry VB to treat our wounded, but it was getting really suspicious when whole platoons in strategic unitswere going down with self-inflicted wounds, ha ha! Canopy? Uurrggghhh! A shudder just went through the remains of my poor old battered spine, ha ha! Have a good new year mate! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Nah mate, Vegemite never dries, that's why it makes such a great high temperature bearing grease, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Prior to 2001 my most expensive bike was $896.  Currently have a '73 Suzuki TS185 pieced together from Honda XL125, the original Suzuki and a 1948 Ford 8N Tractor.

Does that explain RatBike?

I do have some nice, newer stuff as well.

limited brain capacity for remembering Logins and passwords, so I used my log-in from work. They take the first 6 lettters of your last name, plus your first and middle initials.

So.....    Sean David Kettley becomes kettlesd

Besides being into motorcycles (and music and electronics, etc., etc., etc.) one of my hobbies is model railroading.  KSLRR are the initials of my fictitious railroad:
Kludenberry Short Line RailRoad.  I came up with this name over 30 years ago.

My user name is obvious, i'm stu and my bike is a 400/4, however the story behind the bike is that;  last year i had never ridden a bike before my Dad who owned a lot of bikes when he was younger said what a good bike the 400/4 was, I encouraged him to get one, but he wouldnt, so I thought sod it if I get one hopefully he'll show some interest and we can have something in common. sadly he still has no interest, but I am loving the restoration

Good story Stu. I'm sure once your Dad sees the huge grin on your face after returning from a ride he'll want to get more involved. I'm probably around his age and bought my 400 after 25+ years away from bikes, probably one of the best investments after buying my house.  ;D
