My real name is Ravi and I live in Bangladesh, but one day when I retire from the boot black factory, I will immigrate to Australia, change my name to Terry (or "Tel" for short, from the English program "Minder") and purchase a Honda CB750, or at least, that is my most humble dream............  ;D

'Back in the Day' I spent 6 seasons as a full-time crewmember for several Nitro Funnycar teams. Just got tired living out of a suitcase. But as with any addiction, you can't just walk away, so I became a hired gun. I continued to help some full and part timers at various venues.

Most of my pals knew my passion for hunting, as I would spend the off-season camped in the hills, then on the Columbia flyway.

I would see guys I knew at the races and they'd ask who I was working for THIS week, who was I helping at the next race. You tell me, who's short handed? Hell, I worked for 4 teams in 4 races. I was like Paladin - Have Gun, Will Travel.

So I became the NitroHunter.

I slowed down some but still do a NHRA TF dragster, 2 Nostalgia FCs, and the jet FC.

I have always been known by my middle name, Scott, or Scottie. Since my last name ends with a "lee" sound, friends started calling me Scottly. I have always used a variation of this on-line.

a work at home father of two grown kids who don't cook or clean and the wife has a long commute to work.

cookindaddy gets the weekend off cooking to work on the CB750 and to ride now that it is finished.

Cookindaddy, I'm not sure about at your house, but at mine if momma aint happy, nobody is.
I'm sure she doesn't enjoy the commute. So that means the kids gotta go. I hope they are at least going to school.

Yeah, you're right its none of my business.

There must be a thread around here for "family wrenching" or "tuning kids"?

I wuz just sayin what my username comes from and why it suits me these days.

And probably also explained why I love riding my bike so much!  :)

Yup, no family dynamic is perfect.

Oh by the way I'm sure I posted it before earlier in thread, but here it goes anyways.

Noahspop= Noah is my oldest son, and I'm his pop. Simple enough.
Someday I might change it to Jakespop, or Lizzyspop, or even NJLspop.
