I'm trying to get a dropped 76 550k back into shape. I took the forks out and replaced the headlight ears which were bent. Lined up the triple clamps with the wheel as straight as I could...and though the wheel is fairly straight the overall wheel appears to be at a slant. When I had the forks off they were straight. Visually I think the frame head looks bent... but it could be the triples. I'll try and get a picture up.
So with all that said if worse comes to worse I guess I could do a frame swap. I have a 75 550F frame that is 90% stripped that I was wondering if I could use? Are the frames for the 550's fairly universal?
Any advice would be great!!
