As of right now....

I have nothing to my name.

They siezed all of my monetary assets. (Which are supposedly returning to me this coming week)

My whole shop, customer projects included, was siezed and impounded.

My whole home was siezed as well.

Licenses, registrations, and certifications were placed on either temporary suspensions or revoked.

I was surprised but given the list of charges, the cross-jurisdictional paperwork (that even a word?), and the amount of just plain #$%* that they were pushing on me...

Anything not in my name I still have. But anything they could find they took.

I have to provide paperwork, receipts, and any documentation for all of my business and personal belongings. My guess is they are banking on me not being able to provide any of that.

Luckily for me.... I'm your no ordinary Average Joe. I keep EVERYTHING!! Even food and gas receipts.

Geez, it's like a bad movie script or something. I don't have any useful advice, so I won't try and leave any. I'm pulling for you though.

If i were you Joe i would be trying to find a good reporter and getting this story viral, they will leave you alone faster than paint dries, because NO ONE will stand for that type of institutional bullying and incompetence. What is the cost to your community?.....Go hard Joe, give the idiots everything they deserve.......

I thought paint dried really slowly, which is why the phrase "more boring than watching paint dry" makes sense...  ???

Yep, time to turn this over to the *gulp* MEDIA and hope there are still any real journalists left around to muckrake this crap done to you so you can hopefully get on with your life again.

Unfortunately anyone worth a crap that could write a story has been bought out and retired quite some time ago.

I see a book and movie somewhere with all that has happened to you.  At least Oprah before she quits, lol.

Another great post from Laminar....There's one in every bunch. And for your information Laminar there are hundreds of different types of paint {i am a painter specialising in industrial epoxies} that go off extremely fast.....You go watch paint dry mate, i knew what i meant and i imagine , so did everyone else.... ::)

PS....try posting something relevant and intelligent....

It isn't just an American colloquialism Kit, its an old saying that refers to  the old enamel paints of years gone by, they took for ever to dry, what Laminar said was not what i meant, and besides he is just being the same old twat he always is, commenting on #$%* thats none of his business and arguing points that aren't relevant.....

I miss the old enamel paint.  Yeah it took a month to completely dry.  But, it withstood the elements and lasted far longer than modern paints.

Darn rights. Even the new oil based paint is crap. I like to have the kitchen and bathrooms in enamel and the stuff within the last 15 years or so is just junk. Planned obsolescence under the guise of environmentally friendly.

some of the single stage urethane's in simple primary colors are as tough as it gets. I think the pearls and metalics they put in paint is a lot of the problem
