everything put back together....now what?
« on: July 23, 2010, 04:01:37 PM »
So I assembled everything back onto the bike and i think i did everything correctly.  Now before I start her up is there anything I should be careful of?  I put oil into the oil tank, should I kick it over several times to get the oil flowing?  Any bit of tips or hints would be much appreciated, I don't want to damage anything after putting everything back together....

I would actually add some oil through the tappet cover just to be sure...but yeah also kick it over to ensure the pump is good and primed and forcing oil up there

I just started mine a couple of hours ago after a frame up rebuild.
I grabbed a syringe ans squirted 20ml of oil in each tappet cover. It did take a while to prime the oil, start up was a success.
now i just gotta tune it ?
good luck with yours
