I dig the orange, too.I got the boss maroon on my bike and I think it's a cool colour. And it's more rare.  ;)

Yah, the orange is so 70's. I had to have one myself. But you have to decide what YOU like. Good luck with your decision.

I have an orange 550 but I really like the freedom green! Ive never seen it in person. My Father has one but I have seen only pics.I wouldnt be happy with Boss maroon unless it was original paint. What color was yours originally? Any over spray under the tank? or behind the sidecovers?

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

The orange is hard to resist but since it's a K4, and the Freedom Green is so rare, I'd go with that. I've seen one and it does look great.

You know, I fell in love with that Burnt Orange a couple of years ago. I think that everyone else did, too, which means there are much more orange bikes out there.  :-\

I vote green. It's just that little bit more unique.

Just from a purely aesthetic perspective, I prefer the green.  I like the orange, too, but I agree that it's not as unique, given the number of burnt orange SOHC's out there...

I have all 3 of them and this is my opinion:

1. Freedom Green is defenitely the best - it is real elegant and classy and more rare. Gets some great shading depending on the light. You got taste...
2. Candy Sunflake Orange - fun, a bit too much circus and fair ground to be elegant - too common.
3. Boss Maroon - took me a while to like it, but very elegant up to chrome and polished alloy parts - more rare.

As Henry Ford said:"Any color is good so long as it is black",  or something like that.  I would go with the green as my CB500 is the original green.  Really, select the color you like best.  You are the one who will be living with the decision.

I guess I'd pick the green also, for the reasons stated above.

My motorscooter (a CB750) and my sports car were both made by manufacturers that cared about colors.   Really, the factory paint on these old Hondas is stunning!

Take a look at your first 3 pics...which one stands out the most...sunflake orange. It will turn heads faster than the others. Good luck with your decision. They are all nice colors.
