Hello every one.  I've been wanting to make a set of flow through riding pants but can't seem to find a supplier of the fabric.   It's a cordura nylon mesh that withstands abrasion and heat relatively well.   I think I've emailed a dozen retailers and the manufacturer, but so far no hits.

Anyone know where I can buy several yards or even a roll of this stuff?

Here's a link to Vanson if you're not sure what I'm talking about  http://www.vansonleathers.com/product_pages/jackets/vmx_ventmax.htm

I know it would probably be cheaper to buy an of the shelf set of pants, but I really prefer riding/ wearing things of my own making.

Thanks,

Jorge.

I can get my hands on Codura seat covers for Tractors (Work at a Freightliner dealer). They have been in use for awhile,
due to their anti-rip properties. I still think it's cool when I take a pen and stab the seatcover, and the thing doesnt tear  ;D

that patch is nice...scary, but nice - is it your own design?

Sweet patch!

I like the whole "DIY custom" thing about it.

Proteal, are those covers the mesh stuff or the solid fabric? If they're the mesh/ net stuff, do you know who makes 'em?
There are two different types of seat covers I can get. One is a real fine mesh, which is the norm for the trucks I sell. The 2nd is a vynal looking kinda fabric, that has Codura sandwiched in-between two layers of some kinda vynal. As you could of guessed this one is about 45% more than the straight up mesh. As far as a manf, I am not sure. Ours comes straight from Freightliner...
