If you spent this much $$ on a bike, would you ride it?

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Well if the Mick Duckworth book comes with it, that's $6-7000.00 of the asking price right there! ;D ;D

The Vac Bag is worth a few Kiwi bucks too, right?

The vac bag? Is that like an inflatable lovemaking device?

Was that color offered overseas ??  Not correct for a US model 72. We had gold, brown, or orange.  Looks more like a 71 red.  ???

Most Harleys go for more than that, so I guess a lot of people would spend that much, then ride it.  Not sure why they'd spend that much, though.

Yes red with gold stripes was one of the colours offered here in NZ.

If I was a person who actually had the money to pony up for that bike, I'd ride the heck out of it.

It is a nice bike, but defenitely overpriced in my opinion. Not sure of the NZ currency rate these days, but this is what you pay for a sandcast. That would be an investment.
This is an "ordinary" 72 model and I would not look twice at it at that price. Much better investment in a CB 750 is no problem.

Sure I would ride this one, but not buy it.
