No worries mate, you're doing a good job on that bike, and I'm looking forwards to seeing the end result. The discs don't sit equidistant from the fork legs on my K1 with dual discs and Henry Abe wheels, the disc on the left (alternator side) sits quite close to the fork leg (say, 5mm(?)) whereas the extra disc on the right side (points cover side) sits about 10mm from the leg, which was about the same when I had the dual disc setup with OEM spoked wheels.
What I'm wondering with yours, is, were the Lester hubs modelled on the K0 hubs, or the later ones? You see, the K0 hubs were wider than K1-K6 hubs, so I'm wondering if that is what's causing your problems? I remember another member here had a similar problem during his build because he initially used a K0 front hub on his dual disc setup, (I know because I eventually bought his hub for my K0 build) and the fix was swapping out that hub for a later (narrower) hub. I'm wondering if you might need to have some "meat" trimmed off the lester hub to allow for the extra disc? Do you know anyone with a really big lathe? Cheers, Terry.
