Have you ever replaced the rear brake caliper? I was reading it today and it says to remove the wheel, could I just slide the axle part way though and pull off the caliper instead? It seems like it would be possible to only remove the axle part way.

AND ITS DONE, with some force of course.



Another question for you pros, the linkage that is on a spring that pull the pedal has a plastic nut, well mines broken, meaning I literally have to stand on the pedal for it really stop the back wheel. DO you fellows know any fixes for this, or where I can pick a new one up??

The only plastic nut I can think of is on the brake light switch which has a spring that attaches to the SKU: 46510-392-000 SPINDLE, RR. BRAKE PEDAL on the other end??!! That has nothing to do with stopping. The brake light switch is readily available SKU: 35350-KJ9-405 SWITCH ASSY., RR. STOP (Honda Code 3780665) 1 $9.91 . The other spring I think of is actually for the pedal to keep it recoiled back (no braking position). Can you look up a parts diagram and give the Honda part number you are referring to so we can look it up to be sure what you are referring to?

Actually you are spot on. But my brakes are still very very squishy, but they at least work so I cant complain too much.
