« on: August 10, 2010, 07:47:12 PM »
i just bought a new old stock seat #7702-323-050 is written on it and also 7702-323-050A which is in my parts list ,my bike has the document holder flap and this one dosent,my rubber supports are rectangle these are circular, this wont fit my 74 as the lock catch is slightly rearward and lining up the hinge results in a gap at the rear of the tank, mine also dose not have those little tin looking brackets at the bottom in the photo for like a prop arm maybe?can anyone identify this for me?thanks.

Hmmmm.  The first set of numbers is missing a digit.  Also, the center three digits, which usually stands for the model code that the part first appeared on, doesn't match any model.  Here are the codes:

It doesn't look like the bottom of my '77 550K3.

Anyone got an idea?
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Could be off a CB500T (Twin) instead of the CB500 Four.
