Local Vintage Riders - S.E. NH
« on: June 23, 2010, 06:24:08 PM »
Hey,

Looking to see if there are any vintage owners in this area that also ride their antiques!?!

I'm hoping to wander down to the regular Tuesday nite bike meet in Lowel, MA one of these weeks [http://www.motorcyclenight.com/about-motorcycle-night.htm] and just wondered if there were any other vintage nuts that were interested in going down to check this event out?

Also, I occasionally do a loop around the big lake [Winnipesaukee] on Sunday afternoons. Most of the tourists have gone home by then, its an easy 2 hr [approx] ride, and the air is usually cooler anywhere near the water. Though it would be fun to have a herd of antiques roll through that area. Many convenient places to stop along the way.

Lemme know if anyone in the area is interested in any of this or something similar.

Thanks,
MV

I live in manchester NH myself. And I ride my vintage aluminum every day I get a chance to. Which is everyday it doesnt rain. Wether 10mins or 2hours. I'd be down to check out that bike night if I get one of those nights off. Harley  ::) here in manchester has a bike night every thurs. Live music, and stunt bikes! wtf? , bikini bike washes, and all kinds of bikes. I saw a roberts replica RD down there one night.

I'm down for riding once I get my bike together, hopefully in the next few weeks. Where in Rochester are you? I'm in Gonic near the mill building.

Just made a $300 order of parts. I'll be up and running in no time. Wakefield St. is right up the street from where I keep my bike, I have a little workshop in a basement downtown on north main st. We should make plans to meet up and talk about bikes. bwatson885@gmail.com I would love to see your bike in person. -Brian

Nope, but I have now, thanks! That brings me to an even I saw. Rice-O-Rama? Have any of you been there? Its in central mass on Sept 12th 10-5 rain or shine. I missed it last year, but it looks pretty sweet as most of it is vintage if im correct. Think everyone will be up and running by then?
