You are, Terry, now how's that cow plow coming along?!?

I'm still thinking it out at the moment Strokey............... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ahhh, technology, doubt. A lot of these are on pedestrian crossings, just get your pillion to to jump off and press the crossing button, better still shout at passer by. ;D

Ah the joys of having to leap off your bike (no pillion, you see) to push the pedestrian light to make the signal change. And then being halfway back to the bike when it does change; and then stalling and missing the light completely so that you have to go through the process again!

If you stop so that you put the motor over the sensor wire buried in the pavement so that the crankshaft is as close as poss (which is the largest concentration of ferrous metal in the bike) it will usually trip the sensor. Failing that local authorities hereabouts are receptive to de-sensitising the things so that a two wheeler will make it work.

I've worked it out! I was given an old Toyota Camry recently, it was a great runner until I made a small error with the water/fuel ratio calculations for my fuel saving "water injection" device that I was almost ready to market internationally. (oh well, the fuel savings would have been offset by the cost of several miles of garden hose per unit...................)

Anyway, I've  now found a use for the Toyota, and a device to trip the lights, all in one fell swoop! I've converted the "cowcatcher" device so I can attach my bike to the rear of the Toyota, and I just "push" it with my bike! The weight of the toyota (once rolling) makes light changing a cinch, and now when it rains, I just park, jump off the bike and sit it out inside the car with the radio going, safe and dry. Fantastic!  ;D

Well, Terry, if you're gonna go that far, why not just give the bike remote controls. Rig up some rope and pulleys to operate the bike from inside the car. Then you'll be able to make it home in time for the game (match?).  ;D
