Newbie Questions (forks)
« on: August 05, 2010, 11:37:40 PM »
Hi guys, been looking at the site for inspiration for some time now finally got around to starting my project. Ive got a 78 750k bone stock but not for long.  I'm using the wrenchmonkees bike as something to go on. My goal in a vintage looking bike but with good brakes front and rear. So my question is are there any modern forks that I can run with dual discs and twin piston calipers that will take a spoke rim? i was thinking  like Harley but i want something more sport oriented like GSX witch seen before but they don't give the spec on the rims. Or if you the forks they are running on the wrenchmonkee bike?  Any help will be greatly appreciated. Once I  get started ill post some pics. Thanks

And if you decide not to go with a "modern" front end just search up FishHead - member here - for the many sweet things you can do to a GL1000 set of forks  ;D ;D ;D
