Classic Nigerian "I'm rich so I'll give you $1 million to look after $50 million for me" scam. Been going around for about 10+ years, so somebody must be falling for it.

I get about 1 e-mail a week with one of those.

The one to be careful of is the South African " Hi, I want to buy your BMW sports car you're advertising for sale in the ................. for £10,000. Here is a cheque for £15, 000. You can use the balance for shipping. Here is the shipping company's adress I want you to use......." scam.
You cash the cheque, send the money to the so-called shipping company and wait for them to come and collect the car. And wait, and wait, and after about 2 months the cheque bounces and the money in your account disappears.
