i met a good sort of bloke today at a local bike show,he rides a ducati 900 a 98 model,he commented on the fact this old bike(norton) we were looking at had a separate gearbox from the engine, hes never seen this before?so i showed him all the other obvious examples of this configuation,a few harleys old,and all the old british iron, this guy was about 30 and still in the dark ,hes ridden bikes since he was 8 years old he said and has never  seen this ?i explained a few things as to the dry clutch rotation versus crank etc and he still didnt get it,so he will never understand an open primary untill he sticks his fingers in?and he rides a ducati?and hes telling me about oil?

Sounds like he was just looking for a way to getcha to talk. Or starting ignorant conversation.
