I read the posts about squealing brakes. Some may disagree with me, but for the most part, stock brakes don't squeal. YOu shouldn't have to "do" anything to get them to stop. YOu shouldn't have to upgrade puck material (though that may be part of the problem, later) or cross drill, or stand on your head etc to get them to stop.
It was something that was "done" to them in the first place that make them squeal.
Your therapy should start from that perspective.
After being sure the surfaces are all very clean, store bot brake cleaner should do that, my suspicion is puck material. Our stainless steel discs are low on the totem pole for braking. I'm suspicious that ebc pucks are geared toward EBC rotors, which are much better. . I would downgrade, not upgrade, the puck material to the closest thing to stock to get rid of the squeal.
Or upgrade the rotor.
