Very nice Otto. You did a wonderful job. Where in Maine? I grew up in Rockland Maine. Wouldn't be able to get a plate like that in Calif.

otto, where did your wife get the new HM300 pipes? I have a 750 K6 that I want to get factory HM341 or maybe HM300 put back on my bike. Also I run Avon Venom's on my Harley Wide Glide and I like the tire. MY K6 is needing new tires and I'm thinking of going with Avons on it also. How do the Avons ride and handle on your K1? Would you recommend them?

thanks dhall

Thankks guys,

I live in Westbrook, Maine. .5 miles from Portland. 1.25 miles from Falmouth.

My exhaust, as well as many other parts were purchased here: http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/

Orders placed today are usually rec'd in 5 business days and their stock and customer service is excellent! In over a dozen orders, only one mishap and that was corrected immediately. Your K6 would have had HM341 pipes originally...

So far so good with the Avon Road Riders... Like em a lot and they come highly recommended.

Rockland is a beautiful place ...

CB750F2 - Thanks

What's next? I dunno. If I could find another 750K1, I'd like a RED one...  ;D or Polynesian Blue  ;D

Or maybe a 78-82 Naked Goldwing.

I do have to say that the 71 750K1 is the most fun of any bike I have ever had... It just makes me smile everytime I ride it!   The balance, the sound, the history, the look , you know...

I am really considering selling my 2002 R1150R BMW.. I just don't ride it anymore. I have put less than 200 miles on it all season... It nice, plenty of power, torque galore and handles like a dream and nice to look at(but it sounds like a sewing machine) ::). Highway driving is like sitting in church... But it leaves me cold. Doesn nothing for me..

That bike is done right, a K1 in Valley Green pretty rare.
Wonder what does it cost nowadays to restore a bike all the way like you did?

Great work! The green ones are very rare around here. A final touch I learned about from a forum member, get a black Sharpie and colour in the area on the dyno cover around the word "Honda". I tried to paint that for a long time until the simple solution popped up.
Cheers,
Cliff.

Love the green look Otto. What did you do with the seat? Is that new or original?
