so ive taken the carbs off many times and cleaned them...i cleaned the pilot jets really good and made sure you can see throught them because they were clogged pretty badly. i also cleaned the tank and got some rust out of it so then that made me decide to put an inline gas filter on (high flow) . and the bike still doesnt run very well, sometimes all the pipes will get hot fast but if i take it on the road it just boggs down and seems to only run on 3 cylindars..... bike sat for a day and i decided to pull the outter carb bowl off while still on the bike, and the bowl was already starting to discolor on the sides and dirty. not sure but im guessing this is why its not running well, could the carbs be getting dirty from the intake of the air filter? ive cleaned the air filter, but could be clogged internally.....any help would be nice!
