Didn't there used to be a "Random Pictures" thread in Open Forum?

Well, anyway-
Went on Hillbilly's annual run yesterday.  Over 200 miles tryhing to dodge rain and finally- we lost.  Oh well.  We beat the flooding I'm hearing about. 
He puts on a nice do with lunch and includes a chase vehicle- just in case.  No problems except a broken clutch cable, which they FIXED.  (I was impressed)

I'm really used to this stuff, so I only take pictures that stand out for some reason (to me, anyway).   Forgot to take Indian pictures for Bill.  Maybe he won't notice this post.  (Gotta say- I was behind a Chief in the rain and he was hauling the ashes home.  Turns on new rain didn't slow him down a bit!)  (Ya-hOO)

We stopped at Sherwood Forest for lunch.  Robin Hood grilled hotdogs.
This was a road built in 1820.  Really helped me understand some things about history.  A trip that takes me a half hour today was probably a 2-day trek back then.  The trees were so tight that when it started raining- we didn't get wet.

Untill the ride home;  100 miles of wetness.  At least it wasn't cold.  The last 25 miles was totally dry and I started to dry out.  The mountains make strange weather patterns.

So in this last shot is a 441 Victor.  The owner is an old pudgy guy with short legs.  I don't know how he starts it.  he won't take it over 345 miles an hour, and when he rides the wind catshes his pants and blows them up so it looks like he's carryhing big denim balloons.  I'm glad he gets out there.

That's right.
It's a lot of work for me to put pictures Photobucket, so I only take pictures of things unusual or entertaining to me.   

Yeah... it's all about moi.
