What is this worth?
« on: August 11, 2010, 11:12:22 PM »
Just got some stuff from my uncle who was cleaning out his barn, and want to know what this stuff is worth...

1 - 1970 model CB750 frame (vin 1044xxx, full vin is below 1044806, which according to the serial number page here makes it a '70)
1 - 1970 750 engine. Haven't checked to see if it turns freely or not.

A few other misc. parts as well, but I think that is the only CB750 stuff. Can anyone give me an idea of what this stuff is worth?

Thanks,

David.

I see a 1975 F0 frame and title for 350 on ebay. Do you have a clean title? That will raise the value a lot.
1976 CB750 (basket case in progress)
1979 GL1000 Goldwing (runner)
1983 CB750 Nighthawk (basket case)
2004 Yamaha R6 (commuter)

With members paying 5-600 for a whole bike, 350 for a frame is a bit optimistic, titled or not. You may get that much for both the engine and the frame especially since they are from the same year and frame and engine numbers don't match so that could be the original engine for that frame.

Put them up for sale and see what you get.  That's what they're worth.
