Jaffa and I went out for tea and out through the restaurant window we saw some really old Jap iron being ridden and parked up.
I could identify an early RD350 Yammie and a 65 Hustler 250 Suzi plus a few others I wasn't sure of.
The riders came over to the restaurant for dinner and as we left I couldn't help going up to their table and complimenting them on their bikes and asking what exactly they had.
Turns out one is a guy I know who works at the local Honda dealers and has a stack of CB750's but I didn't know he had any two strokes.
They laughed and said they were having a "smokie" night out ha ha, great to see such a group of older riders and their machines enjoying the unseasonibly balmy night.
We chatted about the costs of registering the older machines and agreed that this government had to go for increasing the tax on bikes 200%.......lets just vote them out I say.
