Hey All,
My other love, Naked Goldwings :) forum is having a gathering at Crater Lake. If Anyone is in the area and wants to hook up that would be great.

OK, as of now I need to do some laundry and pack. Do front brake's on the 84 and pack up the bike. Brant should be here about 6 from Hastings. Gonna eat visit and sleep. Meet up with friends in Cheyenne for breakfast and then off.
should be about a 2 hour ride up to WY.

I'd guess the shakedown ride went well. Have a great trip and be safe! Any other plans between here and there? You will very close to the Pacific!  ;)
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

We shall be hitting the 101 for awhile. I heard that is a nice ride.

Paul,

My sister lives in Eureka, CA. NorCal. The section of CA1 south of Eureka immediately south of the 1 & 101 intersection that Sean Condon had us on was AMAZING. I haven't done The Dragon but this has to be right up there. Knowing how you whip that Wing back and forth in a rythmic motion I KNOW you'd like! I'm not at home close to my maps now but will be about 10pm.

map check: the area I'm referring to is where the northern most section of CA1 intersects US101 about 90 miles south of Eureka, CA. Probably out of your way but REAL good riding. Heading south on US101 take a right turn onto CA1 by Leggett. Also on your way there and beginning just a few miles south of Crescent City, CA is Redwoods National Park. BF trees where they filmed some of Star Wars I believe!! For a real nice (not the best shape in some areas) twisty road back from the coast head east at McKinleyville on CA299 to Redding which is on I-5. Of course there is always WEED, CA north of Redding on I-5.

Have a great time.
