I need to go back and check the dates, but October will be here before you know it.

Let's hear it, if all goes well and I don't have to change my plans, I'm hoping to meet up with SOHC4 folks who I mostly know only by usernames or first names.

So, I take it that ALL who have seen this thread, aren't going this year?

Be pretty cool to actually meet some of you folks, who I have been sorta knowing for going on 5 years (yep, this coming Dec, will be 5 yrs on here)

Bill, I'll be there as always, it's 10 minutes from my house. The old fart's motorcycle club (actually Dixie Classic Bike Club) will have a large area in the swap meet. I'll hang out there some.

I'm hoping the planets line up so that I can go. Being retired got rid of one planet!

However, my normal riding companion is wavering...plus if the gods smile, I will be riding in Northern Thailand which would trump Barber.

I plan to make it with something to display in the VJMC booth. Pancake breakfast on Saturday is a must. Why don't you ask to have this thread moved to the main thread........or start a new one. I can also tell you that Bill Silver and Billy Aldridge will be there. I may get a swap space depending on who goes with me. We should all plan to meet for Friday or Saturday evening.......food and beers???

Glad to see that there are several who are going to make the effort. Gotta see about meeting up, for sure. Me, I'm not a drinker anymore (not for many years, but can do for some socializing though. Gonna have my Dad and my Daughter with me as well. Last year, I even had the reservations and had to back out, as I was still having problems, due to my loss last year.

As for moving this thread, how about if I start a "Roll Call for Barber Days" thread? That way, I could edit the first post (as more folks said they were going (or were gonna try to go)?

Just Bumping this up AND want to ask that ANYONE going, if you'll go to the Events Forum and post there, I will add your name to the list of those who are going, so we can get an idea of how many and hopefully meet up somewhere to ACTUALLY meet in person.

Now having realized that's a lot colser to me then I thought, I think I might just have to check it out. Sounds like it is a lot of fun, plus one of the other riders from our "group" rides was looking for someone to ride over with. So hoprfully with a little luck I should be there too. would love to meet some more of our great forum members.

I will be there again as always. I will probably just camp out again this year but I may see if I can get a spot in the swap meet since I seem to have accumulated a fair number of various extra bike bits these days.

As Travis said, I'm there with y'all. I think Bill (bluto) is planning the route for the N Ga group. I know based on a recent PM that we're taking 78 over from N Georgia. I suspect the route will get posted in the events thread already rolling. I look forward to meeting some additional members.
