Tuning my carbs (Some noob questions)
« on: August 16, 2010, 08:51:43 AM »
So I have been running rich, I have everything stock on the carbs(I think) air screws turn and a half out, and needles on the middle position. I have what appears to be a mac 4-1 and a KN air filter.

Should I drop the needle position down one to position 4? and turn the screws out like 1.5 more turns?

Thanks,

Croix

Year/model?  K&N pods, or filter element?

To really know for sure what to do, you'll need to determine at what throttle position you are rich.  Which means--wait for it, wait for it---Plug Chops!
