Advice needed on 836 kit

If this post should be in another section, mods please move it...

I'm thinking of picking up this kit over on the hondachopper forum.

836 kit with cam. Includes ART pistons with pins and rings, RC ENG jugs, RC ENG cam (one end is stamped 27B, the other RC 315)

So my questions are...

Will this work in a 77/78 engine?

What other mods are required/recommend/nice to have?

Any and all info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

There are 2 distinctly different 77/78 engines. F or K ?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Sorry about that.  It's a K.  I now know it will fit the 77/78K (but not an F motor, well an F head anyway).

So, what else would need to be done to my motor to make it work?  HD studs, different gasket right?  What else?  What's needed vs. what's recommended vs. a dream engine.  Anything that would be hard to find?  Or way out there $$$ wise.  Don't want a $300 set of paperweights.  Although I'm second in line and the first guy seems pretty positive about buying it.

Thanks,

Matt

Looking at the pics especially 9 and 10 the cam lobes seem to be very different, almost different cams. Not an expert myself and it might be the lighting or something..
If it is what is advertised, it sounds like a good deal to me.
There's a nice guide to head, cyl blocks and cases guide on this forum, the search function will tell all.
