mean ass friends
« on: August 18, 2010, 06:14:50 PM »
I have just figured out, that after 2 years of hair pulling and cussing and numerous carb tear downs, I have been the butt of a very bad joke among my friends.  One of them at some point during the tear down process...switched my rear sprocket out....swapping a 43 tooth in place of the 48.  It has been no wonder that BABY has felt underpowered for 2 years.  Who needs enemies when you have friends like this?  of course they are laughing like hyenas about it.  Rotten Sons of beeches.

ha ha... sorry to laugh at your misfortune, but that is friggin great! i came home one day to find that a few friends of mine picked up and turned my vw bug sideways in my single car driveway. f'd part was, the motor was in a thousand pieces in my garage. and my driveway has a #$%* of a slope...

That was a pretty good joke.  But I can't believe they let it go for 2 years...

Yeah, really. Two freakin years??!  :D

Pull their valve cores & fill their tires with water. Do it. Seriously.

My buddy got uber loaded & passed out on my couch.
The rest of us decided to shave off half his mustache.

I'll never forget coming out a a haze the next A.M. with my buddy right up in my semi-conscious face yelling "Where the F____ is the rest of my mustache?!??!"

So the important question now is what are you going to do to repay the favor? 8)

I wonder how they'd react to a 52 tooth rear?  You can find out, but you'd have to wait for them to catch up...

Swap their #2 plug wire for #3.
Long zip ties on their car's drive shaft.
Wait until Winter, then take one of those rear diff lube syringes(trust me, it makes this MUCH easier!) and get some water and a valve core wrench and an air tank or pump, hell a can of fix a flat, anything to pump 2 tires up. Go to opposite corners of their car, and fill those tires with about 2 quarts of water each. Pump each one back up, and go home secure in the knowledge that their morning commute will most assuredly suck!

This one's for warm weather;
Dehydrate yourself a little so that when you pee, you pee a nice, stinky, golden yellow.
Then pee in a cup and pour this on their bikes headlight. The next few rides will suck as well.
A more extreme smell output is gotten by pouring your pee on their engine and headers.

+1

This is going to be a tough one to top, though.  It was very subtle and didn't do any actual damage to anything, but it had you chasing your tail for TWO YEARS!! ;D  Some of the previous suggestions are good, but they'll be discovered and fixed too quickly.

You need something similar but worse, and you need to wait a decent amount of time before implementing it because for the time-being they'll be expecting the retaliation.

I don't know if it can be done but rewire the bike so it kills the engine when the horn is used.

Don't mean to be "wet blanket Gordon" again, but let's refrain from anything that could potentially contribute to an injury or death. :)

i had a friend who stole puzzle peices and had them on display in his room ..... i say if you can have a primary joke and a secondary one to get caught at so that the first one gets by undetected.. then they'll think your lame when they catch u "trying" to pull something off..... the switching plugs 2 and 3 is a good secondary one.... how about semi plugging the gas line so that the bike will run for a while... choke on the lack of fuel and when they pull over to investigate it will  fill back up and run for a little bit then choke out again..... i know the gas line would be the last place i'd look

Ooohh, good point!  The ol' "you guys caught me, I shouldn't be trying to pull one over on the masters" thing! ;D ;D  Yes, cater to their egos, get them nice and inflated before you POP them back into reality. 8)

One of my personal revenge favorites: stealing some SOB's car keys, moving their car up the street, then putting their keys back.

They'll look for hours. And when they do find their car, half the time they'll freak wondering why they parked there and can't remember...

I don't know if this is true, but years ago a mechanic swore that if you prise the contact points apart and with a lead pencil "draw" all over the contact faces until they're covered, the motor will never start again until you clean those faces. And who's gonna figure that one out.
I'd love to know if this is a myth or not.

Its true. I have seen it done on the inside of a distributor cap. The spark follows the graphite of the pencil.

One that I always loved, is if you have access to frozen nitrogen, freeze a few cans shaving cream, the cream not gel, remove the aluminum can and them the block of shaving cream into tier car. Soon as that baby warms up BLAM ever nook and cranny is filled with shaving cream.
