Having a hard time with aftermarket exhausts

Good day,

I've been looking for aftermarket exhausts for awhile now. What I'm looking for is a set of 4 into 2's. I just like the look of having them on both sides instead of the 4 into 1 look. My bike is a 78 cb750.. everytime I do a search, Mac Performance comes up... They don't have what I`m looking for... See, what I would like to find for my bike is a set of pea shooters...

Would anyone know where I could find a set of 4 into 2 pea shooters for a 78?

Oh ya, would anyone know where I could find an aftermarket mastercylinder for the front brakes? The stock one takes up too much room on the clubman bars.

bcr has a 4into2 with pea shooters but they arenot cheap

Dang!!!!! BCR is a sweet site...... I think I'm going to have to make a new Christmas list!   

You're right though, they ain't cheap!

...... lets see what the accountant says after the next quarter.... ;)

Not sure where my PO found them, but I have 4-2 peashooters. They look great and sound even better (honestly about half the reason I bought the bike). Benjie's stuff IS absolutely incredible, his craftsmanship is second to none...and the price reflects that. There's other stuff out there though, you just gotta find it  ;).  You could always use a set of universal mufflers attached to some 4-2 headers...

If I can find something for you I'll post it down here somewhere

I was thinking of doing that before I got my carpy pipe,there are tons of aftermarket megaphones out there,Emgo has a bunch,pretty cheap too.But as my buddy always says"Emgo on someone elses bike."He is a big believer in Oem and quality parts.The 4-4 swarbricks are awesome.Makes me think of selling my carpy and 341's to get a set of swarbricks. ;D

These are the pipes I was referring to...no idea about brand or origin. Similar to Benjie's (which I've been lusting after for years) but exit lower

I've already called Mac, apparently the problem is the size of the "Y" 2 into 1 connection diameter. I believe most aftermarket mufflers have a diameter of around 1 3/4".... My 78 has a diameter of 2 1/4". According to Mac, this is the problem with the 77/78 4 into 2 models....

....oh ya, Mac doesn't have any other muffler models with the 2 1/4" diameter connection.....

I've got an old (what looks like MAC) 4-into-two exhaust with megaphone (not peashooter) mufflers on it. It isn't in great shape and I'm not sure if it would be usable to you, but if you need something to hack away at and maybe do a custom job to get some peashooters slapped on I'd be willing to sell them to ya pretty cheap. Shipping will suck from Texas to Quebec, but I just thought I'd offer. Maybe you should search around locally and see if you can find somebody selling a set of headers or a full exhaust that you wouldn't feel bad about tearing up?  All you'd have to do is find the right size peashooter

And at least that much again (if not more) to fit & then finish them. :( 

My 550 experience mirrored DoctorD's 750 Swarbrick install.  These are defintely DIY.  Could have bought Benji's stainless pipes and had money left over. :o  That said, if you want the Honda 'bent pipe' 4 into 4 look, Swarbrick is currently the only game in town.
