is not a bad looking bike but the price is pretty steep at least to me i could buy a late model zx14 with fuel injection for less

And I'm pretty sure the clubmans and checkered racing stripe add about 50hp.

If I could get my bike to 17000 rpm, and reduce the pumping losses due to a primitive intake and exhaust valve arrangement I could make 130 hp.

Acually the fox "body" stang started in 79.   The "fox" platform was used on other fords starting in 78.  Fairmont and futura and a couple others I cant remember.   All the suspension parts and drivetrain was the same.

Opps   sorry I posted.  ;D   Was trying to explain the fox platform more than anything.    Ok to be a stickler they used many "fox" parts untill the new (old) style.

Yes they changed the name and some things but many parts carried over.  At the time the mustang guys wondered why change the design but still use the same parts.
