Hello once again,I have been able to take some pics but please excuse the quality as my camera broke. I bought the bike back in June, she started up just fine about six times, both electric and kick, and would idle pretty rough but soon would not turn on. All the electrical worked just fine as well. I decided to start dismantling the bike and finished yesterday.
I would like to get everyones opinion on what steps to take now that I have the engine out in order to get her to run well. The carbs are recently rebuilt and clean. What should i focus on as I don't want to completely tear apart the engine but am willing to take the neccesary preventative measures before the bike goes back in the frame.
Also since I am going for the Classic Racer look what is the best way to remove the passenger foot peg triangle on the frame? Is it neccessary to remove the original tank mounting bracket from the frame if I am looking to use a CR750 replica tank in the future? And is it ok to grind down the frame with a circular steel wire brush grinder before taking the frame to the powder coater? Sorry for the onslaught of questions.....
