Replacing Clutch question
« on: August 23, 2010, 09:19:25 PM »
OK, I am told by a mechanic that clutch needs replaced, Fiber plates and Steel plates and I'll probably get new springs as well since its all getting replaced. How many do I need of each plate? I'm assuming 7. its a 75 cb750K. Any suggestions as to where to order and possibly for the least amount of cash?
Thanks

Well your mechanic should know how many of each plate you should need and a lot can be found in kits all together or at least all the fiber plates you need in one package.  DennisKirk, Bike Bandit, even Ebay, they all work.  Just stay away from the kevlar friction plates.  I've read on here many times that the particles of kevlar gum up the motor and kill the oil pump.
All glory to the hypno-toad.

ok. I am trying to find a better price then the mechanic. It would be around 225-250 if he ordered. and thats quite steep. Have you ever used cb750supply.com??
