Kinda cheating but not really....

I've been missing my old 1998 Yamaha FZR that I sold awhile ago so I started checking out craigslist for another sports bike. I found a pretty good deal and bought this 2005 GSXR two days ago. Shes very very very fast.

Im still testing it out, Im not for sure if I want to keep her or not. GSXRs have always looked kind of front end heavy and it sort of feels that way. I think Im going to go test some R6s and 600rrs just to see if they are any better!

What do you guys think?

Have you done any adjustment to the suspension?
I mean, there is no difference in the frame of the GSXR 600 and the 750.
Do your static sag (front and rear) then drop the front forks a little bit and check it again. Make sure your tire pressure is right. This bike should turn almost with thinking about it.
By the way, how many points do you have left in your license?  ;)

I picked it up for $3,000 with 15,000 miles on the clock.

I think its a pretty good deal, that one of the reasons I got it. I was looking for an r6 or 600rr.

About the points :) I only have 2 tickets on my record and one is about to disappear, so I guess I have some left?

I'm trying to find a manual right now so I can do all of the maintenance then work on some upgrades. Its pretty much stock except for the yoshimura exhaust.

whats wrong with pink ??? i have a shirt that says real men wear pink that they gave us on a breast cancer poker run ...... very nice bike btw i used to have one i wish i would have kept it

We don't get points in TX, so no prob. Just try not to get a speeding ticket for more than 25 over, then you can take defensive driving class to dismiss!
