K&N Pods for CB550F

Can someone point me in the direction of a source of K&N Pods that fit the CB550F.

The K&N site is hopeless to navigate so I am hoping there is a source that I can go to with a model number for the item.

Currently running PODS  - bike is tuned for them and they work great except...they sliughtly touch the frame.

Thanx for that.

I do know I have seen some (on this forum) that include the metal grill similar to my existing ones.  They had red caps on them in the photo provided but that was likely  to have been a paint job.

Whats wrong with them touching the frame.  Mine have been rubbing on the frame for fifteen years and no holes yet!

I think if they work well I would leave them alone because you might end up with tuning headaches.

Because they touch the frame..they slightly are misaligned with the rubber mount and the potential of a leak is there.

Also looks a bit sucky when they are on the slight angle IMO.

since i cant afford $175 in filters (k&n) i had to go with the $10 emgo's. well since they dont fit the frame of my 500, i broke out the tin snips and took a 1/2 inch off the top. scraped the epoxy out of the cap filled it with new epoxy and re-attached the cap. voila. doesnt seem to effect flow at all...

uh oh. sounds like i now have my foot in my mouth :-\ tt i would never knock your highly valued opinion. but what problem have i created? not sure where i read this "mod" on this board, but i have also seen it before... doesnt mean its right.. .but, why tt, why???? oh and i met flow as in it ran the same before and after...

I dont think these fit the CB550 despite the K&N info sheet stating otherwise.

I have a brand new set that I was unable to fit to mine due to the width (75mm) of each unit plus the length impinged on the frame for the outer two.

If anyone has their 550 Kehin carbs off their bike at the moment...could you measure the spacing of the inlet ports please.  I am keen to know the centre to centre dimension.
