New guy here ... 73 CB350 (Photo's) .... What to do with it?
« on: September 02, 2010, 04:46:55 PM »
Hi everyone. I have a 1973 CB350 (Photos below). I'm trying to decide what to do with it?
I can turn a wrench but don't have the time for a project / re-build. I'll explore offers if anyone is interested.
I have clean title and keys.
Odometer reads ….. 7500 Miles
Hasn’t been started since 1985, has been outside living
under a tarp year round until now (8/2010).

Rust inside gas tank, rusty - handle bars, forks, chain, rims, top of carbs,
mirrors, pipes, fenders. Tires are dry rotted, but tubes will still hold air.
Seat in good condition – no holes or rips. Tank has dent on top, previous owner
punched it.

I have a 2005 Honda VTX 1300R that get's 99% of my attention.

Thanks for the tip Gordon, maybe I'll tape two empty toilet paper rolls to the jugs.  ;D

Anytime! ;D

Sorry, I deleted my post when I realized this was in the open forum instead of the sohc4 tech forum.

Regardless, are you really looking for input on what you should do to/with the bike, or is the thread title just a guise to get people to read your ad to sell it?  Because from your post it seems like you already know what you want to do.

I've not ruled out doing a "Bobber" project. I go to the doctor in two weeks to see if I need to have shoulder sugery.
That'll be the deciding factor. Take care.

Ah, the hospital 'deciding factor', whom hasn't  been there, especially in the USA
where a simple operation can break the bank?

Good luck.
