Well, came to a major decision. I'm ditching all of the glossy 80's black stuff and going flat "satin" black with those parts instead. I already did the frame and the wheels (rims and hubs) are getting powdered the same way as I write this.
I'm trading the new powder-coat guy out in a swap for some clean engine covers that he will do in flat black and he's keeping my old Glossy ones.
That just leaves the triples, lower forks, battery tray/tool tray and rear swing arm to get re-blasted and re-coated.
I'm not overly concerned with time at this point. Bike is almost done and I will be riding it as id for a few months before everything is complete anyway.
ON that note...I also decided on the gauges and lights as well as a few other tasty bits.

You will note that the speedo has the idiot lights built in which means I'm ditching the stock indicator bar panel for this:
Next, I decided on a different set of lights. Getting the dual headlight dominator lights in Black.
In fact I'm even using the same brackets in the pic.
