Rocks, rocks and more rocks
« on: September 05, 2010, 06:13:04 AM »
Hi All,

here in New England we have lots and lots of rocks. Since moving out to the country
I have built 4 rock walls and a few stairways in the past 7 years:
Just another thing I could not do when I lived in the village.
Hey, it keeps me out of trouble.  ::)
I will try and post pictures later.

What you do with your rocks?

Peace,
michel

Yep, it doesn't unless you cut and paste.

So, what did I do wrong?

Something with dropping a 500+ pound rock on my fingers?
peace,
michel

PS went waling in the back woods and took pictures of some really old rock walls,
well old for the USA.

When you get the error loading page message, go up to the history bar, and delete everything in front of the www185 then hit the go button, it should come up then.

yeah.  rocks suck.  i got them all over my 1/2 acre. 5/8ths to 1 man size in clay-like hardpan.
really poor drainage. not what you want to have living up here  :P  glad i'm on a sidehill.
only thing i could do was to contract a grader, rake out what i could, and then cover with 6" topsoil.
