Where do you look up Honda part numbers? - answered!
« on: August 31, 2010, 01:48:36 AM »
Where do you get part numbers? I have a 78 CB750K

I've been looking parts up at mrcycles.com but the problem is that the parts that are no longer available are not listed and of course sometimes when we are maintaining our fine old machines, those are the ones that we want to know about. Also, the interface is kind of clunky.

I see the Honda microfiches roll by on Ebay once in a while, that's what the dealers used to use, but I don't have a microfiche reader.

I know, I know - go check the manuals section of the forum - I'll go there now...

I did a search and five years ago Lumbee suggested servicehonda.com. I'm there now. Same clunky interface as mrcycles BUT the discontinued parts are listed WITH THE PART NUMBERS!

If this helps anyone else. Thanks Lumbee!

I have the best luck looking here for availability, and the best prices (if I find they are available from Bike Bandit) at Service Honda.

That is correct but you can determine availability THEN go to one of the other sites and order at a discount. That's my trick.

Yeah between that xtremeusa place and servicehonda.com I've been able to source just about everything for my '74, '84 and '86 Honda bikes.
