1975 cb360 oil plug stuck
« on: August 31, 2010, 09:14:30 AM »
I got a new bike last night. Want to change the oil but the bolt is so tight or stuck that Im gonna break some thing before it comes loose. I was using a 6 point socket with a bar over the racket, I sprayed lube on it and it has sat over night. What else can I do? I was thinking heat it up a bit?

If that is the big one underneath they always did take some moving Use a 24 inch breaker bar on a quality socket not a ratchet

I striped the oil filter cover bolt on my cm450 and had to cut a deep grove in it with an angle grinder and a cut off wheel. Then a hammer and chisel to get it loose
